how do you like the xbox game amped?
how do you like the 1st amped: freestyle snowboarding compared to say... SSX on tour
(only the xbox games)
and what do you think about the game? worth getting??
Of the two I prefer SSX: On Tour, however it depends on what type of snowboarding game you're looking for.
SSX: On Tour is an arcade-style snowboarding game. It doesn't attempt to recreate realistic snowboarding; instead it gives you really big moves that defy physics but look really cool. Handling and pulling off tricks is much easier as well.
Amped, on the other hand, goes for a more realistic style of game. It bends a few things for the sake of being a fun game, but it tries to be as realistic as possible while doing so. The controls aren't incredibly hard, but at the same time they take a lot of practice to really nail.
Both are good games and worth checking out -- it just depends on what you are looking for. If you want a fast, over-the-top game go for SSX: On Tour. If you want a little more challenge and something truer to actual snowboarding, got with Amped.
