Will an XBOX compatible dance pad controller work with DDR Universe on XBOX 360?

I want to buy Dance Dance Revolution Universe for my 360, and I found a deal on a HVG2 PlayStation 2 & Xbox Deluxe Dance Pad. Will a dance pad meant for a regular xbox work with this game on a 360? Or do I need some kind of adapter? Or should I just stop being cheap and buy a package that was intended for use on a 360?

You can not use any kind of original xbox controllers on the 360. That includes dance pads.

like if you put a dvd in your xbox and use the universe remote will it be just like a normal dvd controller?

It would have to be a Universal Media Center remote or something. The radio frequency signal given off of the remote is different from normal tv/dvd remotes.

DDR Workout Mode Help!?

I have DDR Universe for Xbox 360.

I turned Workout Mode on last week, and it has showed my calories burned since, until yesterday and today. I am signed in, and the Workout Mode switch is ON, but it isn't counting anything!
When I finish a level it tells me the calories burnt but isn't tracking it for me.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

The best thing to do might be to turn it off for your profile, and then try turning it back on. Also, it might depend on which mode you're playing in as to whether it fully tracks everything or not.

Does Phantasy Star Universe cost anything per month for the xbox 360?

I already have xbox live gold and I was thinking about getting PSU because I heard it was a fun game. I don't expect to play it online if it costs anything additional, so the question is will it cost anything (aside from my live account)? What will I be missing if I don't play it online?

And the multiplayer is the best from what I've heard but you still get single player.

It's awfully cheap on ebay so you aren't losing much if you don't go on multiplayer.

Why is my XBox 360 DDR pad not responding?

I have both the Konami AND Madcatz pads for Dance Dance Revolution Universe, but they seem to have a half-second delay. What could be causing this?

That's odd. I have the game and mine works okay. The first thought that comes to mind is, what kind of TV are you playing on? If it's an HDTV, did you remember to switch the Xbox 320 to output in 720p? I play on an old-school SDTV, so I have no problems with lag.

Ps3 Console - A Great Entertainment Package

I have used a Nintendo Wii for 4 years and an Xbox 360 for 1 1/2 years so I am familiar with all the major gaming systems. We recently received a PS3 Console slim and I love it!! I will just bullet point the main pros and cons

pros
-Blu Ray player (one of the best ones on the market)

-built in WiFi AND Ethernet jack (Xbox 360 has Ethernet jack, but not WiFi and the Wii has WiFi but not an Ethernet jack)

-Super quiet compare to the Xbox (a little louder than the Wii).

-Can upload music, photos and videos to the hard drive and play right from homescreen. I copied my photos and music on to a flash drive and connected that to my PS3 Console slim. the PS3 Console found them and I copied them on to my hard drive (make sure you create individual folders on your flash drive exactly as the following: MUSIC, PHOTO and VIDEO. The PS3 Console firmware is written to look for those folder names so you need to place your content in their respective folder)

-The photo album software is awesome. My family sat down and watched a photo album set to music right from the Photo Album software that I put together in a couple of minute. It was super easy.

-Web Browser

-Motion sensitive controller (kind of like the Wii). I played Stuntman Ignition and steered my car simply by tilting the controller

-SMK Link made a universal remote called the Blu Link for the PS3 Console. It is AWESOME!

Cons (not a lot, but):
-I don't care for the Sony controller. I think the Xbox 360 is far superior. The 360 was desinged much better: fits hands better, left thumbstick is in a better location and the triggers have a better shape. This is not a deal breaker, but the 360 controller is much better. I tried the Shadow 6 controller that DreamGear made for the PS3 Console. I love the shape and feel of the Shadow 6, but it does NOT work! I should have listened to the reviews

-Need a disc to play instant NetFlix content. I guess I should at least be greatful that Sony and Netflix worked out a way to circumvent the exclusivity deal with Micrsoft, but having NetFlix as an integrated part of the Xbox is nice (it should be noted that NetFlix will be available on the Wii soon as well)

-Not backwards compatible with PS2 games. Really the only PS2 game I want to play is Star Wars Battlefront 2 and maybe they will release a 3??? (there's always hope).

When all is said and done, I definetly recommend the PS3 Console slim!! Do I recommend it over the Xbox 360? Yes and no. If the PS3 was backwards compatible for ps2 games, I would live with the inferior controller and say definitely. Since it is not backwards compatible the combination of that and the inferior controller makes it a little harder to say "definitely"
