Who liked N64. Mario Kart, Mario Party and So Much More?

I remember the day I got my first Nintendo 64, I was so happy! I got the game Mario 64 and that was the best game ever in my opinion, it's still my favorite even with the new Nintendo Wii's Mario Galaxy. I have a PlayStation 3 now and I'm still wishing I had an Nintendo 64, to play Mario Kart, 007 Golden Eye, Mario Party, Mario 64, Diddy Kong Racing. Oh man the list goes on! I think I'm going to buy the Nintedo 64 again, I think it might even replace the PlayStation 3, until a game I like comes out for it of course (lol.). Who misses N64? What games were your favorite and why, and would you rather play N64 over Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii?

Why would you get rid of your N64?! We just hooked ours up the other day and we were playing Mario 64 and Diddy Kong Racing...those games never get old!! You definitely need to get another one, we still have all our original systems-the first nintendo, super nintendo, N64, and gamecube! We still play all of them, along with our Xbox 360 and Wii...I like playing Super Nintendo the most-super mario, mario kart, and killer instincts are my favorite games to play!!

having a few couples over my house and was looking for a racing game that was perhaps a little less serious than say forza. pgr4 is good because you can drive in slower cars at first but ideally would want 4 player split screen and more of a fun eliment. is there like a "mario kart" esque game for xbox? would be good to go online with it too, any ideas

not sure if it works on the 360....Outrun:Coast 2 coast the original Xbox game.you have to check the listings for compatibility. this is more of an arcade racer....only split screen 2 player though....still fun.

I like this game when I played it at an arcade some time back. This is a multi-player game that allows you to play it online with your friends. The main objective of this game is to race against 11 other competitors, in a 'Grand Prix' style. There are a total of 32 different routes, of which half of them are classics from the previous games, and the rest all brand-new. You can do lots of tricks with a few flicks of the Wii Remote, which helps you to increase your speed in the game. During the race, items will appear to help you. For instance, the thunder cloud will shrink you, unless you ram your kart into someone else and pass it to him.

The mega mushroom makes you grow super huge so that you can flatten the other racers. All in all, the Mario Kart Wii provides a whole new playing experience with its simple controls, online integration, and new stunts that were never found before in the Super Mario Kart which originated in 1992.

Wii Guitar Hero: World Tour

This game allows up to 8 players where you can play together and even compete online. The previous Guitar Hero allows you to play the traditional guitar only. With this latest installment, you can now play drums and even sing. You can choose to play only one instrument, or perform a band together with your buddies. If you are game for some challenge, you can also choose to compete online. What makes this game so overwhelming popular is the ability to play together as a band, like some rock-star band, while your friend sing to the tune. Another great feature of the Guitar Hero : World Tour is that it allows you to use your own tracks to play the game. If you are good enough, you can also create your own songs by following the tutorials. It's a fun game for all ages. Who knows, you might be the next rockstar!

Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop

This game is adapted from the original version from XBox 360. With lots of action, you will have a hard time fending off those zombies. The story is about a photojournalist Frank who is supposed to investigate a zombie invasion at a shopping mall. He has to find clues around the mall and kill those zombies of course. There are hundreds of items that you can use as weapons and a good collection of clothing that you can choose from. You can collect bullets and even cash when you kill the zombies. Although the Wii version is a bit wayward when compared to the original XBox version, you can be assured that this is an action-packed game with lots of fun and laughs.

Which is better Project Gotham Racing 4 or Forza Motorsport 2?

I know its purely opinion but give your reasons why. Also, what do you think about these two games? I don't know if its just me but it seems that they are really falling behind when compared to Gran Turismo. Neither Forza nor PGR has the new Nissan GT-R but Gran Turismo does. Why aren't they trying hard enough? If a representative of Xbox or any of these games' companies reads this please talk about this at your next meeting.

Forza motor 2 is the better game because it has more car selcetions and better car customization, and yes Xbox needs to get Gran Turismo

elder scrolls oblivion xbox 360?

what are some MAGICAL items such as enchanted rings and magical staffs that i can easily get in the game and if possible where to get them from...PLEASE SAY YOUR GAME RACE AND LEVEL AND PROFESSION

my race is argonian my level is 56, i'm went through the hole game(every guest) but i don't remember any good staffs that are EASY to get, but instead you want to know how to get 1 MIL without trouble, (not a cheat). First Get a paralyze spell or staff (paralyze poison doesn't work) then go to the middle of impperial city and find a rich guy named Dorian,(in a house) or just put dorian in google, then start persuading him, only give bribes. give about 1-2 k money to him, then paralyze him with your spell or staff, and pickpocket him before he wakes up from the paralyze. when you take the money you gave to him, there is a bug/glitch than makes the money stay in the pocket of dorian even when you take it. (this means every time you press pickpocket 2k you get 2k 4k 6k etc. The money stream never ends. Enjoy XD

When The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion was released for the Xbox 360 in 2006, it was considered by many to be the best role playing game of the year. Fortunately, PlayStation 3 owners will now be able to delve into the world of Tamriel. Oblivion is based on a user created character that is immersed in a world of tyranny. The gamers role is to find an heir to the throne because the previous heir was murdered. As a result, the gates to the Oblivion open. Consequently, nefarious demons come from these gates and attack innocent civilians. Players must find a way to find the heir and prevent the destruction of Tamriel. The game starts by customizing your character from the ground up. This entails race, gender, class, and attributes (ala Jade Empire). A few of the classes include thieves, warriors, and wizards. Each class has their own pros and cons. For instance, a thief will be proficient in pilfering items. A warrior will be an amazing fighter, and a wizard will be a brilliant spell caster. The gameplay is where Oblivion really shines. It is more than a linear role playing game. One element of the game that sticks out like a sore thumb is the exploration. There are a plethora of video games that give you an objective, and you have to see it through until the end. That is not the case with Oblivion. Players are in control of when they want to further the main storyline. In regards to the main storyline, you will be encountering a myriad of malicious monsters that want to crush Tamriel.

Gamers can follow the main plot, or they can fool around with the seemingly endless character interactions. What would a role playing game be without side-quests? Nothing. Luckily, Oblivion does a remarkable job of giving you a laundry list of optional missions to complete. One of the optional missions can be to retrieve an item. But it is not as rudimentary as that. While recovering the item, you might be ambushed by some thugs or creatures. I would spend so much time away from the main storyline that I forgot all about it. Secret caves and dungeons are places that are scattered throughout the world of Oblivion. The combat in Oblivion feels more like a first person shooter than a true role playing game. You can attack with various magic spells, swords, arrows, and so much more. For example, gamers can assail a foe from afar with magic or arrows. After that, they can close in on their opponent with a sword attack. Having versatile combat like that is unprecedented for a role playing game. Sometimes you do not even have to fight. Stealth can be utilized in order to circumvent your way through the next stage in the game. The audio in the game is not bad. The sounds of weapons hitting against each other do sound realistic. All of the dialogue in the game is spoken. In contrast to the lifeless reading of text in role playing games like Zelda and Final Fantasy. Conversely, many of the same voices are used for multiple characters. The visuals in Oblivion on the PlayStation 3 are marginally better than on the Xbox 360. Frame rate flaws on the PlayStation 3 edition are slim when compared to the Xbox 360 iteration. Loading screens are no longer a concern with the release of the game on the PlayStation 3. If anyone came across a loading screen in the Xbox 360 adaptation of the game, he or she could have more than enough time to make a sandwich and eat it. Unlike the Xbox 360 version, there is minimal load times throughout the duration of Oblivion on the PlayStation 3. Overall, Oblivion is an epic role playing game from beginning to end. Over forty hours of gameplay is well worth anyone’s time.

How do I program a Thrustmaster Nascar racing wheel for the XBOX?

I just got an original XBOX, controllers, games and a Thrustmaster Racing Wheel w/ pedals from a garage sale. After reading about it online and messing around with the wheel it seems that you should be able to program it to your own personal settings, I just can't figure out how. Does anyone know how to do this? I would like to get it set up for my non-gaming Dad for Christmas so he can play racing games.

It is a great feeling but what feels even better is knowing that the world can see what you have done and you can compare yourself against those very newbies and the most powerful and experienced players out there. Tracking your stats and the stats of your friends brings an entirely new element to the game. It is no longer just about what happens in one match or one day but rather what happens throughout your playing time on COD, plus it fulfills a bit of the voyeuristic tendencies of the human race. You know you want to see what your friends are doing in their game, go ahead, it is okay to admit it.

Until a few months ago you had to go searching for your stats and matching them up against other players was impossible, but in November of 2008 the Call of Duty team revealed a stats site that enabled players to check their stats, compare them against their friends and the worldwide community and see where they sat in the field of Call of Duty players. You have to set up your stats account before you can go comparing yourself to other players,but it is really easy to do.

You basically need to link your COD account to the stats site and the Call of Duty  website directly for all of the information to be loaded. When you are in multiplayer mode all you need to do is choose Xbox Live and enter your "barracks". Once in your barracks you will see the "web stats" option. Each person's web stats have a personal code that identifies you as a player. Write down your number and head over to CallofDuty.com. If you are a serious Call of Duty player odds are you have visited the site before. Log in to your account or create one if you have never been to the site before. Registering for an account is like registering for an account on any other forum or site put in your information and call it a day.

Once you are in your account you need to enter the "my account" tab. Once in the tab you will see a "link account" tab. Click that tab and pick your platform (PS3 or Xbox 360). You will be asked for your gamer tag or ID and the web stats code that you grabbed out of your barracks. Once you've done all that and confirmed the information is entered you can head back to your profile on the site and select the "COD WW DOSSIER".Your stats will appear.

From now on you can track what is going on with your own stats and the stats of others who have linked their account. Feel free to browse around and check out all the features the COD team has really outdone themselves on the stats tracking site and it makes the entire game a whole lot more fun.

Video Game Technology Makes Better Use of TV

Video gaming is a use of TV technology that's somewhat on the fringes of what most people lump in with home entertainment (probably because of its obvious computer origins), but it's a very popular use of TV equipment nonetheless.

Video games were first available back in the nineteen seventies with the introduction of the Atari and the Intellivision. Both of these video game systems produced very primitive, low resolution graphics and extremely simplistic sound effects and music, but offered a lot of entertainment to first generation gamers. These were the gaming platforms that first brought us classic games like Pacman, Donkey Kong, and Asteroids in our own homes.

Nintendo and Sega brought us the next generation of video games that provided a lot more realism. These systems were faster and had higher resolution and a lot more memory for much more extensive games. There were action adventure games like the Legend of Zelda, fast paced side scrolling games like Sonic the Hedgehog, and racing games like Road Rash.

Over the years, video gaming platforms have only gotten better and have helped to make new technologies mainstream as well. For example, Sony's Play Station 2 not only further raised the bar on the quality of the graphics that could come out of a video game console, but also helped to make DVD's the standard video format for watching movies at home.

Most recently, we have access to the Nintendo Wii, the Play Station 3 from Sony, and Microsoft's Xbox 360. The Nintendo Wii offers an economical and flexible way to enjoy a bunch of different games in a family friendly environment. The Play Station 3 and the Xbox 360 are higher end gaming platforms that take advantage of the latest TV technology by displaying graphics in HDTV resolutions of up to 1080p and playing DVD's.

The Play Station 3 and Xbox 360 are especially impressive pieces of equipment because of the computational power that they both have. They both have multi core processors that allow them to generate such high resolution graphics. In fact, many people who are watching others play the Play Station 3 have to remind themselves that they're watching a video game instead of watching video of live people! Both of these platforms also have hard drives that can be used to store music, preferences for the games, and even video.

The Play Station 3 has the extra feature of being able to play Blu-ray high def DVD's, which helps to promote this new format while building extra functionality into the device. The Xbox 360 can play the competing HD DVD format with the addition of an external HD DVD drive. The Xbox 360 can also download high def movies, while the Play Station 3 can upconvert normal DVD's and Play Station 2 games to high def resolutions.

By contrast, the lower priced Wii from Nintendo doesn't have all of the high def features, but it can access the web and download various supplementary material. The Wii also has a special remote control that can be used to play sports games like baseball and tennis.

Rainbow colored graphics on my xbox 360?

I was playing my xbox 360 and listing to my ipod through the music player. So anyways i was playing Dirt and then this one song came on and I knew it was a bad download but i didnt care. so the song played and then when i got to the bad part of the song it all of a sudden these rainbow colored crystally looking things appeared on my car and on all the trees and everything but the road. BUT then i exited the game and went to the main menu. Then i tried the race again and every thing was ok execpt the starting lights at the top in the beging were all rainbow like. So then i turned it off and tried it again and everthing was ok. so i just want to know what the problem is. like is it clich or should i expect the rings of death. WHATS THE DEAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And i was only playing it for about 30 mins before that.

probably just a glitch. i wouldn't play that song anymore. it's not likely but that could cause your xbox to mess up. i'm not 100% sure but that probably isn't good for your 360
