Champions online account is found to be a subscription based superhero themed massively multiplayer online role-playing game by former city of heroes/villains developed by Cyrus Studios based on the Champions license. Your character in turn earns bonuses to their effectiveness for every star earned percentage (percentage increases to damage, healing, etc).  The game champions online account   features an orb system wherein enemies which are vanquished by a player are dropping orbs that temporarily benefit the hero's powers life, or energy.  The game also includes non combat crafting skills, such as various studies in science, arms, and magic, in which these have three other specializations players can choose under them.  There are also a variety of travel powers, including swinging using webs or grappling hooks, flying, fire flying, jet-boot flying, rocket boot jumping, hover disks, super jump, super speed, teleportation, acrobatics, ice skating, earth flying, and tunneling.  The main action is taking place in this game in the champions online accounts universe featuring Champions characters as NPCs. Regions include urban sprawls, dinosaur infested islands, underground ruins, and underwater lairs, A special region called as the underground circuit allows player v/s player competition.

Also a stronghold has been used for games involving player v/s player scenarios, in which the player will take on the role of a supervillain trying to break out or a superhero trying to contain them. Each region in the game is an "iinstance" with upto 100 players in it at one time. The regions are reset if you leave and return, only saving "your "state of the regions at the certain "save points". Should i buy Medal of Honor Heroes 2 for Wii or not?

i just want to know if it is a game worth buying and is the cod World at war on wii like the versions on xbox and ps3 or is it just a game that was put together at the last minute just to make wii owners happy?

It was released quite a while ago, so it definitely wasn't to compete with Modern Warfare 2; but whether or not it was made to compete with other CoD games of the time is unsure.

Nonetheless, it's a pretty fun game if that's what you're looking for. I've heard good things from owners of the game and a few recommendations, but I've never played it myself. You should rent it out and see if you like it before making the final purchase.

What Kind of Gift Do Children Want for Christmas?

I work in an elementary school and the winter weather in our beautiful rainy country does not allows children to play in the garden. So, I always have to look for activities to occupy the children.

Last week, on a rainy day, children were unable to play in the garden, I thus tried to entertain them by asking them what they wanted as a Saint Nicholas gift.

Belgian people - as well as in the Netherlands, Germany, France and some Eastern Europe Countries - celebrate and dedicate Saint Nicholas (SinterKlaas) to children. Saint Nicholas is the Great Patron of Schoolboys and penetrates into our houses on December 6th.

One week before December 6th, each night, Saint Nicholas brings sweets in the slippers of good children (traditional version) or one month before December 6th, he brings many more sweets in the slippers of our good children (this is the commercial version).

Shopping malls also organize Saint Nicholas areas that consist in displaying scenes made from toys; such as train sets simulating real situations or houses full of old fashioned dolls. Children have also the opportunity to meet Saint Nicholas and communicate their wish list to him.

On December 5th Eve, parents and children dress the dining room table with a plate full of cookies and a glass of milk for Saint Nicholas, a carrot for his ass.

On December 6th, early in the morning, the glass is empty, the carrot has been eaten, and there are only crumbs of biscuits. Do not worry, parents do not have to eat these sweets and vegetables.

The table is now lined with dozens of toys, sweets, marzipan, chocolate bars...

Custom Songs From Guitar Hero

Gamer fans of all systems like XBox, Playstation, Nintendo, etc. are enthralled with Music from the Guitar Hero. Users are now able to add their own custom songs to it in addition the 100's of songs that already come with the game. You can use the following method to add custom tunes to Guitar Hero.

Step 1: Install Guitar Hero III before you can acquire customs songs for the game.

Step 2: Locate the new song you want to insert, whether it comes from a website or from your own collection. Be certain to respect the copyright laws when you decide on a song. Ensure that you have the song you want to add located on the computer in MP3 or OGG format.

Step 3: Install the song list editor. You will need a program that will help you to get custom songs from the internet to your PC version of Guitar Hero. Find the list editor here: http://www.mundayweb.com/progs/downloads/songlist_editor_v032.zip

Because it is a .zip file, it needs to be extracted before the program will work. Most of the time, this can be started by simply clicking on the file name once it is imported. (If it doesn't, go to your unzipping program and extract Song List Editor.) The file 'songlist_editor.exe' should appear. Load the program by clicking here.

Step 4: The chart file or MIDI file has to be downloaded to determine what guitar notes you need to play. Sign up at http://www.scorehero.com/ to get access to the pages of the chart files for just about any song. You can find the library in the website's 'Custom Songs' section. The chart file should be downloaded to your computer once you find it.

Step 5: Change the chart file to a MIDI file. It must be converted into a MIDI file after you select a customized song that you want to import into Guitar Hero.

Download Chart2.Mid2Chart.zip here: http://www.mundayweb.com/progs/downloads/Chart2Mid2Chart.zip. As with Song List Editor, extract the files from the .zip file, run the .exe file and open the program. Browse for the chart file(s) you just downloaded. Then get the 'Guitar Hero' circle (not Rock Band), and click on 'convert'. This will create a MIDI file from the chart file you downloaded, and save it to the same directory.

Step 6: Input the song into the Song list editor. Now you can place your song onto the Song List Editor. Start the program and select, Insert New Song. Input the song title (in lowercase letters). For the Guitar Track, Rhythm Track and Song Track spaces, browse and select the .mp3 or .OGG version. Search for the MIDI formatted file you made in the MIDI search area. Next add the details of the song, like the title and the year it was put out. After you have entered that info, click ok.

Step 7: Wait until the song is fully converted to a custom Hero Song. Once you have clicked OK, you will have to wait a couple of minutes to allow the conversion process to work. Then there will be a black screen that says the file is done creating fsb. The song should now appear in the Song List Editor on the left hand side.

Step 8: Add the custom song onto the list. Edit set lists in Song List Editor. Choose the 'Bonus Songs' option from the menu. Next, you should increase the quantity of songs that are in every level by one. The next step is to locate the drop down menu for "song number," and pick the last song listed. Choose the custom song you are trying to import from the song list drop down box. Click OK. The custom song should appear in that blank space you added at the end of your playlist.

Step 9: Click to save your changes. Finally, you should save the changes and additions you made to Guitar Hero. The steps are: (1) Go to "file," (2) Click "save," and (3) Click "OK" when the warning message flashes. Congratulations you have now succeeded in importing a custom song to Guitar Hero. Now you can get going!

Counseling Children of Divorce

Counseling children of divorce can be heart rending.

But those of us in the field may forget how perceptive children are, how closely attuned to mom and dad's relationship they are.

I can remember as a little boy of five or six how sad I was when my mother and father quit kissing passionately when he came home from work. I knew that something had died. I used to watch for that to happen, and the watching links directly to assuring myself that someone was going to take care of me. If they were a team, my chances were better.

In other words, children are aware of the conflict between mom and dad, and they may struggle to fix it, but they already know in most cases.

The emotional connection between my parents, both of whom were very susceptible to the victim side of the victim-persecutor-rescuer triangle, died when I was little. My younger brother may have never known them to be connected.

But children do continue to hope, and when my parents finally divorced after I had gone off to college, I listened to the two of them talk about what they were perceiving, and I was truly amazed at the divergent stories.

Even at 19, I made a decision to write long letters to them both in an attempt to mediate and urge them to talk.

Neither replied, and I dropped my efforts. I had my own life to live. But that does not mean I wasn't sad, or angry, and right now I am feeling sad for their divorce and the choices I made about my relationships with them and my siblings.

Their divorce proceedings happened in the late 1960's, and both had passed not too long after that, I believe because of WWII and its aftermath coupled with way too much drinking and smoking.

However, I did not make any effort to reconnect with my brother and sister until the mid-1990's, as I entered into my 40's.

So divorce and family of origin issues impact kids for a long time.

So what do we do as counselors, working with children of divorce?

The most important thing I would want my children to know, imagining myself divorcing, is how to manage their feelings about mom and dad and themselves.

I would want them to know that they are going to experience a full range of feelings, that those feelings will pop up unexpectedly, and that the feelings are OK, and some awareness should be brought to behaviors. In other words make some choices.

I have worked to teach my children some Cognitive Behavioral Techniques (CBT) in regards to thoughts and thinking patterns.

What is CBT?

"Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) helps improve a child's moods, anxiety and behavior by examining confused or distorted patterns of thinking. CBT therapists teach children that thoughts cause feelings and moods which can influence behavior. During CBT, a child learns to identify harmful thought patterns. The therapist then helps the child replace this thinking with thoughts that result in more appropriate feelings and behaviors. Research shows that CBT can be effective in treating a variety of conditions, including depression and anxiety." (From the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry)

As I teach those tools, (even without a divorce) I strive to find analogies from my children's lives which will demonstrate how fast their thoughts change.

For my son, the Play Station, oops, XBox champion of the world, and budding Little League pitcher, it is easy to point out how fast the screen on his game changes, and how much time he has as a batter to make decisions about whether to swing at a pitch or not.

I think he understands that his mind is very quick, and when he is frustrated by a game, that he feels anger very fast and the expression of that anger is almost as quick.

So any CBT teaching must take into account the speed of the Central Nervous System.

Can a Child Learn Heartmath?

I would certainly consider mindfulness tools in working with children in divorce counseling, including a couple of computerized brain fitness programs, Heartmath and Mind Sparke Brain Fitness Pro.

They are both easy to learn, which helps the child be successful at a time when they may not feel like there is any hope, and both are learned experientially which allows the child to be successful without "talking" much.

As the child develops some success, perhaps other emotional issues can be worked on in counseling.

Heartmath helps a child to recognize feelings and thoughts and their impact on the inside of their body heart beat by heart beat, and the Freeze Frame side of Heartmath is an excellent CBT model.

Switch the thoughts to switch the feelings. Heartmath also has an impact on test taking for kids, and sports, so it is an excellent stress management tool.

Mind Sparke Brain Fitness Pro is a tool which increases IQ, and what budding Super Hero, or child feeling bad about a divorce won't jump at he chance to increase brain power.

The nice thing about tools like these is that the children are going to succeed at them.

No way to fail, unless they do not practice, and those successes can balance out the pain from other issues going on in their lives that they cannot control.

Once there are successes, then the talking can happen more effectively.

More songs on Guitar Hero 2 or Guitar Hero 3 for XBOX 360?

Right well I keep seeing all these songs on places like youtube and I was wondering if it's possible to get those for the 360 version of the game, and how to do it.

You can't make more songs for the 360 that I know of. It works like this, people take one of those old PS2's (the big ones) and they actually open it up and put in a chip and rewire some things so that they can add songs into Guitar Hero 2. I have not heard of this being done with the 360 or any other system other than the original PS2, sorry if this is disappointing.
