HOW DO YOU UNLOCK ALL 87 SONGS IN GUITAR HERO WORLD TOUR FOR XBOX 360?

Hello, I'm an angered Guitar Hero World Tour player. I got the game for Christmas. ho-ho-ho, what the fat bastard, Santa, didn't help me with was how to unlock all 87 songs. I've entered the cheat "BLUE BLUE RED GREEN GREEN BLUE BLUE YELLOW" about two dozen times now and I only have 25 songs. Will someone please help me of how I can unlock all 87 tracks on the game, I'm getting extremely pissed.

On the main menu select the "Options" Menu, then select the "Cheats" Menu, and click on the "Enter New Cheat" selection. Enter Blue, Blue, Red, Green, Green, Blue, Blue, Yellow to unlock the tracks.

You can also unlock the songs by playing through the World Tour mode (that's the real, non cheating way to do it).

why is the rock band game worse on ps2 than on ps3 and xbox 360?

I have a ps2 and ive been waiting to buy it in the UK for ages but i recently found out that all the cool things eg. creating your own rockstars, playing in a full band, playing online aren't on ps2 but only on ps3 and 360. Its a real turn-off. Can anyone tell me why it is rubbish on ps2 and great on ps3/360

Probably because companies aren't as interested in satisfying PS2 customers anymore...they would have made these features available in the first place. I agree it really stinks....but don't let these things get to you so much. be more excited about getting great scores on songs and gold-starring!

The idea behind role playing games, or RPG’s, is that you take on the role of a character, set in a specific location. You then act in the capacity of that character, making decisions based on experiences and the world around you.

Role playing games, as defined in modern terms, really got their start with Dungeons and Dragons board games. These games would consist of a group of friends getting together, and using such props as toy figures, maps, and dice, to take on the role of characters in a collective story. One member of the group was usually designated as a role master, who set the rules and filled out the details of the world which they were playing in.

With the advent of video games, much of the social aspect of role playing disappeared. You were no longer interacting with other people to create a story, instead you were usually just managing a character or a small group of characters, and acting in the capacity of some sort of inventory manager, whose job is to keep track of incoming gold earned by killing monsters, and outgoing gold spent on new weapons so you could kill, more monsters.

The advent of the internet, and the evolution of gaming devices such as the Xbox 360 which allowed users to connect with others on the web. This allowed for the creation of interactive role playing games, where a world was created, and then populated with hundreds of characters from around the world. World of Warcraft is one very popular example of such a game.

The problem with these interactive role playing games was that they are extremely limited. Players control a tiny avatar, but this avatar is constrained in its actions to what the programmers think to put into him. As games have grown in complexity, the options for what you can do with a character have grown, with users being able to customize the appearance, the skills, the traits, and the features of the avatar. They are also able to perform a variety of actions, such as dancing, blowing kisses, sitting, running, and jumping. The problem is that there is no real way to allow an infinite number of actions, because before an action can be performed, it has to be programmed in by the games designer.

These limitations restrict the amount of creativity that can be used by players. It makes it difficult to express a truly unique character, rather than just a standard cookie cutter monster killer with x number of hit points and such and such a skill level. It also restricts the ability of players to interact with one another in any meaningful way.

These restrictions are being challenged by some new, innovative forms of social networking. Facebook apps such as “Vampires vrs Werewolves” or “Pirates vrs. Ninjas” allow members to add fantasy based aspects to their public profile, and even to interact in some ways. These interactions are still heavily limited though, and the very nature of Facebook makes it an unwieldy to conduct any decent role playing storyline in.

On this site, users are instructed to create profiles just like at traditional social networks. The role playing takes place across a variety of forums, blogs, and chat rooms. Users are encouraged to submit pictures and videos to help flesh out their storylines, and there is even an innovative battle system which is based entirely on text based descriptions of attacks.

Since interactions are all based on text, pictures, and videos, there are no programming limitations to restrict what can and cant be done. Rock Band 2 And Guitar ONLY?

Do they sell The game Rock Band 2 (for Xbox 360) and a guitar by itself? I dont need drums or a mic

no, not like with RB1. You can buy the game and a guitar separate tho. I suggest getting them from Amazon.com. You can get the disc for around 25$ and may i also suggest getting the RB1 wireless controller...it's much cheaper than the RB2 wireless controller AND there isn't much difference...not enough to pay and additional 20$ that is. You can get a wireless RB1 guitar for around 25$ also...so that's 50-60$ for the set...the same cost as a brand new game.

I have always enjoyed sports but feel people have taken it too far, does anyone else feel the same?

All my roomates watch is espn sportscenter, not only during the day but at night also, i hear it through the wall. They not only know the name of every current athlete, but high school recruits, commentators, coaches, and past athletes as well. They then get into heated debates about stupid crap (while playing sports games on xbox). Don't get me wrong, i am not antisport, i have played football and rugby but espn has taken the fun out of just sitting down and watching a game. The Xbox does set the standard for what online gaming should be like. No other console comes close to the online experience the xbox has to offer. In addition, Xbox offers a great library of games, movies and as mentioned some extremely good graphics. The Xbox controller works best with all types of action games, especially games that require shooting skills like Halo 3 and all the popular shooting games on the market today. The dreaded "Red Ring of Death" prevents this game system from being the top player on the market. If your system should fail and needs service, it unfortiunately could be weeks for the replacement. While there is a subscription fee of $60 a year for online gaming, it was just recently announced that any Xbox subscriber can now watch Netflix streaming movies on their console. One drawback is that there is no Wi-Fi network connection or Blu-ray support preventing the Xbox 360 from serving as your entertainment hub.

The Sony Playstation 3 comes with a big, massive 80GB hard drive. They also include a composite cable and one controller. You will, if you want, need to get an extra controller for multi player games. It is also suggested to get a component cable and a Bluetooth headset for online voice communication. The Playstation 3 library offers a large selection of games that include some hardcore action, sports and RPG"s. The Blu-ray disc is excellent for some eye-popping movies in HD and for larger games with more content. The Sony Playstation 3 can serve as your entertainment hub and will supports MP3s, DiVX, Bluetooth, movie downloads and game downloads. This system is the most expensive console of all game systems on the market.

The online game play is not nearly as good as the Xbox, in fact there is no real comparison. The good news for all owners of PS3 is that for only about $100 you can upgrade your storage space to a whopping 320GB, making this the ultimate entertainment hub.

Last but not least we can not forget about the Nintendo Wii. The Wii took the market by storm and will continue to rise in popularity well into next year. The Nintendo Wii comes with a small internal drive, but is expected to come out with a new MotionPlus attachment in early 2009 to give it more storage capability. Along with the game console you will get a composite cable, a Wii remote, a Wii Nunchuch and a pak with Wii sports games. You will however need to purchase a component cable, additional Wii remotes (perhaps 3) and nunchucks for multi-player games and a SD card for downloads. While the wii is less expensive than the other consoles, there are some obvious reasons. The game system is different than any of the others, graphics are not as good, storage space is smaller, in fact this system is meant to be different and appeal to a wider audience than the other systems. Nintendo Wii has taken a new approach to the gaming experience and has brought the gamer off the couch, out of the arm chair and into the middle of the action. The controllers duplicate the motions of the person holding them, bringing you directly into the action. The wii is fun for non-gamers and gamers alike. No fancy bells and whistles, no movie downloads, the Nintendo Wii is strictly a gaming system. This is by far the system that will bring the whole family and friends into the gaming experience.

Whatever game system you select, the Nintendo Wii, the Xbox 360 or the Sony Playstation 3 are all game console that will bring you hours upon hours of fun.
