Star Ocean Till Xbox

What ps2 or xbox360 games would you say offer the most stuff and freedom for a player, but still have a story?

For example; Star Ocean: Till the End of Time is absolutely stuffed with mini-games, character customization, optional multi-player, many worlds to explore, free-roam capabilities, allowing player to play on after the "end" of the game, etc. etc. etc., but also has a back-boned story.
I personally think it's the best game I've ever played (I still haven't finished it completely after over 100 hours!!), but I'm looking for new games that offer similiar benefits. Ideas? For either the ps2 or the xbox 360. Thank you!

Hmm... That's a hard one to answer. I would say Dragon Age : Origins, which is a story driven swords and sorcery rpg with a lot of depth, but I don't know how the xbox360 version is so you should probably research that. Fallout 3 is a post-apocalyptic fps/rpg/sledgehammershenanigans with a lot of sidequests and freeroaming and a go at your own pace primary story. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (swords and sorcery actiony rpg) is also a must have for anyone who likes that kind of rpg. Lots of depth and replay value.
And now for my arbitrary ratings.
Oblivion - XXXXX
Dragon Age : Origins - XXXX
Fallout 3 - XXXX
