Xbox orginals on 360 error?

i have got xbox 360 arcade with a 20gb hard drive and I have got a profile on my 360 with 12month gold membership but when i put splinter cell chaos theory(xbox).After about 3 sec it says 'the game could not start.Please download the game again'.Can you please help me resolve this problem.

Not all Xbox games could work on a 360. And those that could need some sort of emulator software that you could download straight to the Xbox or could make an install disc for it from Xbox.com.
Check http://xbox.com about the backwards compatibility & which games ar currently able to do this (it grows).
