Is Rock Band 2 Worth It?
I am thinking about getting the special edition bundle pack of rock band 2 tomorrow for my xbox 360. What is different with the special edition? is it worth it? and does it get old after playing or does the DLC keep it fun? any comments and stuff help. thanks
If u were to buy each instrument seperately it would cost about 50-60 bucks more so if u plan to ever play each instrument get them all at once to save money. Rockband 2 is like rockband 1.5 so the game content and instruments are really alike. On guitar if u care about a different color scheme, longer and reliable strum bar, and quieter buttons get it. On the drums if you care about quieters pads, metal kick pedal, and touch sensitivity get that too. Overall the whole purpose of Rockband 2 was to fix the glitches and make the instruments more durable. I dont think its worth the money to get all new instruments when its not that big of a difference. But if youre a huge rockband fan and play it a lot, your original instrumens will give out on you. So since Im a huge rockband fan and play on expert everyday I got the special edition. There have been no problems with my instruments and I have over 200 songs with the dlc and rockband 1 song packs. with xbox live and the huge tour mode u will always be entertained

The new Xbox 360 Elite bundle includes the Black HDMI-enabled Xbox 360, HDMI cable, and 120GB hard drive. Other accessories included are an Ethernet cable, one month free Xbox Live Gold subscription, a black wireless controller, and an Xbox Live headset. Additional black controllers and rechargeable battery packs are also available for gamers who want their accessories to match their console; however, there has been no word on a matching black HD-DVD drive. The announcement comes less than a day after Microsoft announced the special-edition Halo 3 Xbox 360 Pro console and a few days after they lowered the price of the Xbox 360 Core and Pro systems in Australia. The Core systems are available for A$399.95, while Pro consoles retail for A$579.95. The special-edition Xbox 360 goes on sale on September 20 and will be available for A$679.95.
