After Sega’s Genesis have lived to its expectation comes Sony’s new Playstation. The Playstation was released in 1994; it opened a brand new battle ground for Sega’s little blue hero. Not only that, after two years time Nintendo released their own console which we now know as the Nintendo 64. Both the Nintendo 64 and the Playstation proved a valuable asset in Sonics’ gaming career. For every new console release there’s a brand new Sonic game for the public to enjoy. Sega manages to release at least four to five games in each console.

With the help of modern technology Sonic games continue to catapult into the lead. Sonic has released numerous games with every console made. Consoles like the Playstation 2 and Xbox have made numerous successes topping out gaming charts all though out the world. Its success can be attributed to the company’s marketing strategy. It has been Sega’s trump card all along. There are a handful of Sonic the Hedgehog games available in the market. They may range from the classic 2D type graphics, to racing games or even tennis. Nothing compares to the wide array of games available.

There are numerous Sonic games out there in the market and they cater most for teen players. Playing games seems to relieve stress after a hard day’s work in the office. The demand for new and exciting games continues to grow each and every day. Gamers are continuously looking forward in playing games with excellent graphics and a jaw-dropping story. Luckily Sega is out there to bring gamers up to the edge of their seats. With new gaming consoles all ready to set in the near future then there is no telling how much anticipation for the next Sonic the Hedgehog adventure.
