My xbox freezes on some games and not on others?

I have the original xbox and some of my games like halo 1 fable and star wars freezes.Some time (very rare) i can play until i get tired and others it freezes at the title Screen. My other games like spider-man and Simpson's road rage don't freeze at all. Is it my xbox or my games
