Is the Sims 2 for Xbox a lot different from the PC game?

I found out I was getting it for Christmas and was wondering if its super different from the computer version. Can you still make families and stuff like that? Or is it just one sim per saved game?

It is quite a bit different. The houses are only 1 story, less items, can't have kids and other stuff is missing as well
