Pokemon Gold Version Xbox

what shd i buy for a 7 yr old who loves playing pokemon on his old gba, a ds or psp?w/c pokemon game?

the latest game he got for his gba was the fire red, leaf green and shiny gold 3 in one version. i know diamond pearl is the latest game but i believe it can't be played on a gba. so should i get him a ds or a psp? im also considering a ps3 or an xbox.
i support his interest on the pokemon games as i too am fascinated with the journeys being taken in playing the game.

I highly suggest you purchase a DS for it is owned by Nintendo and Pokemon is owned by Nintendo as well, PSPs are owned by Sony and do not sell Pokemon games for it. Pokemon games will only ever be realeased on a Nintendo console. The reason the newest Pokemon game hasn't been released on GBA is because GBA games are extremely hard to find in stores now and are on the verge of not selling them anymore. DS games can be purchased at any games shop and there are many Pokemon games on DS. PSP has no Pokemon games. Some DS Pokemon games include: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team (Note: There is also a GBA version of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, known as Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team, but it may be hard to find) Pokemon Ranger, Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl, Pokemon Trozie, Pokemon Dash and some Pokemon games that are yet to be realeased include Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness - both on DS. Another game yet to be released is Pokemon Ranger Battonage! I strongly suggest you buy a Nintendo DS for your seven-year-old son.

PS3s and XBOXs are also not supported by Nintendo. PS3s are owned by Sony and XBOXs are owned by Microsoft - therefore they do not sell Pokemon games. However, the Nintendo Wii recently released a Pokemon game known as Pokemon Battle Revolution where you battle with your Pokemon and it can be linked and transferred with Nintendo DS and Pokemon Diamond and Pearl.

Any Nintendo console is the best choice for your son. Please choose a DS and/or Nintendo Wii - i suggest you ask your son which he prefers.
