Are the only Xbox's 360 sold now arcades and elites?

I want to buy an Xbox for Christmas, and I faintly remember someone telling me that you can't play games on the Arcade version, but everywhere I look it there is no regular Xbox. Elites are really expensive so I don't want to buy that.

the xbox arcade is the regular one
it works just ass well as the other ones
the only reason its cheaper is because it
doesnt come with a harddrive, so go ahead
and get the arcade if you want its the modern
version of the "regular" xbox
