What happened to the MVP baseball games from ea sports for xbox?

MVP Baseball 2005 was the greatest baseball game ever made, why did easports stop making them?

Sadly, 2KSports got the license for MLB games. For MVP 06, it was called "MVP 06 NCAA Baseball". They did a college game. It was out for Xbox (but not Xbox 360). MVP 07 is also going to be NCAA. I'm assuming it will be out for Xbox (but I'm not sure).

You're right, MVP was (and still is) awesome. I never played MVP 06, but one of friends did, he liked it a lot (even though it didn't have any MLB teams). I tried 2KSports' MLB 2K6. It was okay. There were cool parts, but overall, MVP was much better.
