I recently bought it and it has been charging for 10 hours. the manual said it should only take a few hours to charge. it is steady red but occasionally blinks red. Is it defective or what?
It should never really be charging for 10 hours. If it remains red, contact Microsoft or do a few google searches. Make sure you use a rechargeable battery pack and that it is secured within the charger.
Cords etc should be secured.
