Gears is amazing, great multiplayer.

Get the Nuts and bolts demo, I have the full game and I play it way more than any other game I have (I am 16 fyi)

There is a demo for mirrors edge, it got moderate reviews.

Fracture got some bad reviews, it looks fun, but I would stay away from it.
