Christmas is just around the corner which means lots of parents will be searching for the hottest new video game for their son or daughter. Sure, an rc car is fun but in the winter you can't really play with it outdoors. There are lots of options to choose from and many great, wildly different types of games on the market that are sure to appeal to everyone. Here is a quick rundown of some of the hottest titles out there.
New Super Mario Bros Wii for Nintendo Wii
This is guaranteed to be a hot seller this Christmas because of its wide appeal across generations. Nintendo has brought the Mario Bros franchise back to its side-scrolling roots with a retro-looking Mario game that makes use of the powerful new Wii motion sensor technology. Parents will remember the original Mario games and kids will love controlling Mario and Luigi with the Wii controller. Space Invaders Extreme 2 for Nintendo DS

Left 4 Dead 2 is a game that must be played with friends, either at home or online, to really experience fun of team-work and survival amongst the zombie hordes.
