I can't get the cheat codes to work on Xbox game destory all humans. help!?

I pause game and hold down left trigger and the enter codes but nothing happens. What is going on?

The one major problem with most gamers that have the x box 360 is the fact that they have experienced the RROD (Red Ring of Death). The nightmare for any gamer is the RROD problem for the X box 360.
